This study is the first step to evaluate effectiveness of ENVI-Met simulation models for further research on improvement outdoor thermal condition neighbourhood typologies in city Ha Tinh, Viet Nam. In this research, rural ward Thach Dai that represents a sub-urban typology was case where simulations typical days summer 2020 and on-site measurements model validation were performed. The measurement results indicate different at various locations, most probably caused by deviated morphologies. High leaf area density plants water bodies are key elements provide comfort. show usefulness microclimate suitable tool analysis development future better
